Morgan Stanley's Chief US investment strategist joins Fortress Investment
Henry H. McVey, Morgan Stanley’s chief United States investment strategist will be joining the hedge fund Fortress Investment Group.
Mr. McVey had worked at the 71-year-old investment bank for 12 years, and served as its chief United States investment strategist since January 2004.
Fortress, founded in 1998, manages $36 billion for wealthy individuals and institutions, including Morgan Stanley, and in February this year became the first American hedge fund to go public.
It is the latest departure of a stock specialist from a major Wall Street firm to a younger company.
